Multi-objective System Design Optimization via PPA and a Fuzzy Method

Abstract System design deals with various challenges of targets and resources, such as reliability, availability, maintainability, cost, weight, volume, configuration. This paper the multi-objective system availability cost optimization parallel–series systems by resorting to strawberry algorithm also known Plant Propagation Algorithm or PPA a fuzzy method. It is first implementation this in literature for kind problem generate Pareto Front. The method allows helping decision maker select best compromise solution. A numerical case study involving 10 subsystems highlights applicability proposed approach.
